A new paradigm in human resource trainingas a rural development strategy
Abstract
Dramatic changes that occur in the world in the most diverse
areas demand fast transformations in human resource training;
in the rural sector, this means that training is no more a secondary
factor linked to technical skills, to focus on the participant's
cognitive development and, therefore, on his/her abilities. In that
sense, the training experience of trainers (identified today as
Service Providers - SP) which was agreed upon by Financiera
Rural and the Colegio de Postgraduados, represents an effort to
develop a new training paradigm with the distinctive features of
its methodological orientation and its search for SP's better
professional performance that should reflect on a better insertion
into the environment of productive units or their clients'
businesses: producers and other economic agents in the rural
sector.
