Abstract

Troughout globalization, the production of tequila, mezcal and
beer face a process of modification and change that has affected
both factory production and international marketing. This process
has allowed for the increase in tequila sales to be achieved thanks
to the control that transnational businesses have attained through
manipulation and control of tequila and mezcal sales. Although
beer has reached world sales, it has been of a different kind and
has fostered strengthening of two national brands.
